One of the most awaited electronic gadgets Samsung Galaxy Note3 and Galaxy Gear are set to launch in Indian markets tomorrow by Samsung.Although the consumer electronics major is yet to announce the price of the two devices in India, Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Gear are expected to cost approximately Rs 45,000 and Rs 20,000 respectively. The company had earlier said both these devices would go on sale from September 25.

Samsung, which is the world's top handset maker, hopes the Galaxy Gear will boost the appeal of its range of Android-powered smartphones, as it battles to maintain supremacy against arch rival Apple Inc, which had launched iPhone 5 and iPhone C last week.
Samsung had unveiled these devices at its Galaxy Unpacked event in Berlin. The new Galaxy Note, which is slightly larger than its predecessor, is better equipped for multi-tasking, Samsung said, allowing users to open multiple frames at once. It also has a stylus, called the S Pen. The device has a 5.7 inch Super-Amoled screen and weighs 168 grams.

The phone will be available in jet black, classic white, and blush pink color options. Samsung has incorporated a 13 megapixel rear camera in its Note series product.

The Galaxy Gear, which has a 1.6-inch screen and weighs 2.6 ounces, has a 1.9 megapixel camera embedded in the strap and a built-in speaker that allows users to conduct hands-free calls. Besides photos and hands-free calls, it can perform functions like instant messaging.

The device, which will come preloaded with more than 60 apps, including a step-counting pedometer and S Voice, a voice-activated app akin to Apple's Siri, can however not be used for composing emails or downloading music.
